Draft, not in effect. Prepared on 2026-11-07 for review by The Silly Llamas. It has not been approved or checked by a lawyer, and it does not apply yet. Highlighted items marked “Owner to confirm” must be completed first.
Our Android apps have their own published policies, which this draft does not change: Llamadoku Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab) and Llamadoku Terms of Service (opens in a new tab), Daily Games Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab) and Daily Games Terms of Service (opens in a new tab).
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use the website at thesillyllamas.com and play the free browser game Llamadoku delivered from games.thesillyllamas.com (together, the “website”). The website is operated by Vincent John Carter, doing business as The Silly Llamas (“we”, “us”), based in Delaware, United States. “The Silly Llamas” is the name under which he publishes games. It is not a company, corporation or other separate legal entity.
By using the website you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it. Our Android apps have their own Terms of Service, linked at the top of this page, which continue to apply to the apps. How we handle information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
2. Our free games
Our browser games are free. There are no accounts, purchases, subscriptions or advertising on the website. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable permission to play them for your own non-commercial enjoyment.
3. Using the website and games
Please don’t:
- copy, sell, rent, publish or redistribute our games, game files, artwork, music or other content, or put them on another website (including embedding the game in another site), except as the law allows;
- try to get around or interfere with the website’s security, overload it, or attack it;
- use automated tools to copy the website or game files in bulk;
- use the website in any way that breaks the law or harms others.
Links to our pages, and sharing screenshots of your own games for personal, non-commercial purposes, are welcome.
4. Your saved progress
Your progress is saved only in your own browser on your device (see the Cookie and Browser Storage Notice). We can’t see it, back it up or restore it for you. It can be lost if you clear your browser’s site data, use a private window, switch browsers or devices, or if your browser deletes stored data. Use Export Progress in the game’s Settings to keep your own backup file. Game updates may change or rebalance puzzles, rewards and features. We aim to keep existing progress working, but can’t guarantee that it always will.
5. Our content, names and artwork
The games, puzzles, characters (including Rocco and Lola), artwork, music, sounds, text and the design of the website are created by us, except the third-party software and fonts listed in section 6, and are protected by copyright and other laws. The game’s music and sound effects are our own original works, composed and synthesised for the game.
© 2026 Vincent John Carter, doing business as The Silly Llamas. All rights reserved. This notice covers our own original material. It does not cover the third-party software and fonts in section 6, which stay under their own owners’ copyright and licences.
“The Silly Llamas”, “Llamadoku” and our character names and logos identify our games, and you may not use them in a way that suggests our endorsement or causes confusion.
Some of our artwork was created with the help of AI image tools and then selected, edited and finished by us. We claim rights in that work only to the extent the law allows, and nothing here claims ownership of anything we are not entitled to.
6. Third-party software and fonts
- The browser game is made with the Godot Engine 4.7, released under the MIT licence: Copyright (c) 2014-present Godot Engine contributors; Copyright (c) 2007-2014 Juan Linietsky, Ariel Manzur. The engine includes third-party components (for example FreeType, HarfBuzz, libpng, libjpeg-turbo, WebP, Ogg Vorbis, Brotli and Mbed TLS), each under its own open-source licence.
- The font Lilita One: Copyright (c) 2011 Juan Montoreano, with Reserved Font Name “Lilita”, licensed under the SIL Open Font License, Version 1.1.
- The font Nunito: Copyright 2014 The Nunito Project Authors, licensed under the SIL Open Font License, Version 1.1.
These licences apply to those components only, and nothing in these terms limits the rights they give you. The full copyright notices and licence texts are on our Credits and Licences page.
7. Links to other sites
The website links to other sites, such as our app support pages and the Android apps’ policies on Google Sites, and to your email app when you click our email address. We aren’t responsible for other sites’ content or policies.
8. Children and parents
The website is for a general audience. Players of any age are welcome, and no minimum age is required. Parents and guardians are responsible for deciding what is suitable for their children and for supervising their use of the internet. Children should ask a parent or guardian before emailing us. Owner to confirm: any additional parental wording after the children’s-privacy review described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Changes and availability
We may change, update, suspend or stop the website or any game at any time, for example to fix problems, add content or improve the games. We don’t promise that the website will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. We may update these terms. The “last updated” date will show the latest version, and significant changes will be shown clearly on the website. If you keep using the website after a change, the updated terms apply. Owner to confirm: the effective date, set when the owner approves the final text.
10. Disclaimers and limits of liability
The website and games are provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of saved progress or data, arising from your use of the website or games.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. It also doesn’t affect any rights you have as a consumer under the laws of the country where you live, which we cannot override. Owner to confirm: the liability wording after review (for example whether to state a maximum amount), in particular for consumers in the EU and UK.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you live outside the United States, this does not take away the protection of mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may be able to bring a claim in your local courts where those laws allow. If you have a concern, please contact us first. Most issues can be solved quickly. Owner to confirm: the courts to name for disputes (for example the state and federal courts located in Delaware), after review.
12. General
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don’t enforce a term straight away, that doesn’t mean we give up the right to do so later. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Cookie and Browser Storage Notice, are the whole agreement between you and us about the website.
